Name Change

I’m excited to announce that I officially rebranded The Pinecone Grove to Emmett’s Expeditions on Monday, June 19th, 2017. After creating the logo identity, I purchased the domain, then dove into syncing and renaming my social media accounts. The initial change was quick and quiet. As promised I am sharing a blog post on the new name.

Product Change

I’m still working on getting everything together for the shop and planning out new products. I am also phasing out art prints, printed tees, posters, pillows, and mugs from the product line. Instead, my shop will carry nature study materials and guides for homeschoolers. At Emmett’s Expeditions, you’ll find nature science subjects including plants, animals, habitats, geology, and astronomy.

Magazine Change

If you follow me on social media, you may have noticed my post about “our new magazine.”

Kid Expeditions Magazine is an activity based publication from Emmett’s Expeditions. Content focuses on kid-friendly nature topics in botany, zoology, geology, and astronomy. Articles with Emmett’s Expeditions are geared toward parents needing wildlife adventure tips for their homeschoolers.

Help your child create and send an ocean story, article, poem, art, or photograph to be published in the first summer issue of Emmett’s Expeditions kid magazine.

If you’re a kid-friendly brand, I love to support small business owners. Write an article or send me a pitch for approval on something parents or kids would love to learn about. Include a small feature on your brand or a related product so my readers can connect with you and your brand.

Location Change

Another big change is my headquarters location, aka my home. A little while ago our family put our house on the market. It didn’t look like we’d be going anywhere any time soon. Life surprised us. While we were away on vacation we received an offer to buy it. So we are now planning to move in August. Where is still a mystery to us but we are keeping our options open. I will update you soon.
